We realise that choosing the right child care and environment for your child is one of the hardest and most important decisions you will ever make. With this in mind we have designed our website to give you an insight into why we differ from other settings.
About us
Smartypants was established in 1999, opening as a Childminding service with only 6 children in what was our family home. Steadily the service expanded as numbers grew and we began employing staff. Extensions were added and the attached houses were purchased. By 2004 we became a 55 place Nursery with numerous staff. The Nursery continued to thrive and we built an excellent reputation within the local area.
In 2015, an opportunity arose for the Nursery to expand into the primary school situated across the road. The primary school relocated due to having a newly built school in a new location. We then refurbished two large rooms and installed a state of the art playground. Again, as the numbers grew the Nursery expanded into more refurbished rooms and now up to the present day, we have refurbished the whole school. Nursery life is thriving more than ever with over 180 children on roll. We have a team of 35 highly qualified, experienced, specialist staff with a fantastic reputation for the first class childcare we provide.
